Charging your phone without a charger!

Battery dead, no charger, get anxious? Well, that’s normal. However, here is some good news! You can now charge your phone with a charger too! Sounds unusual? Yes it is, but it is possible! Following are some interesting methods to charge without a charger.
Low voltage charge:
Alligator clamps and clips hold low voltage that is enough to charge a cell phone. Simply connect it to the battery and start charging. However, one needs to be highly cautious during this procedure. It may overheat the battery and burst it into flames. So, BEWARE!
The USB cord:
This is a much safer and easier way to charge your phone. All you need is a charged laptop. Attach your mobile to the USB cord and connect it to the laptop. The cell phone will draw power from the Laptop battery and charge itself. This method is fast and simple.

Do it the ‘Traditional’ way!
It is believed that rubbing a dead battery on a cloth will cause static and will give little frictional energy to phone. This can at least allow you to make an emergency call.
So next time your cell phone is out of power and you cannot find charger then you have some fast and easy solutions to proceed with.

Locating a dead cell phone

A life without cell phone is difficult to imagine in today’s time and date. These high-end portable devices have revolutionized the global ways of doing things. Keeping aside the abundant conveniences offered by a mobile phone, one cannot ignore the chances of it being lost due to several reasons. Searching a lost phone is not an easy task. Adding to the difficulty, if the cell phone’s battery dies then the degree of challenge rises even more. No matter impossible it might seem, tracking a dead cell phone can be fairly easy considering the following steps:
Begin our search by scrutinizing the place where you lost the mobile. Under the car seat, inside the cushion covers, behind the pillow, search ever corner visible to the naked eye. This will at least initiate your search for a dead cell phone. Next, it is always advisable to switch on the GPS settings on your phone in adverse situations like low battery, deserted location etc. This application can help locate a dead phone through transmissions. If the phone died wherever you lost it, and the GPS location is specific enough, you may be able to find the phone this way. Reverse your thinking! Go back to the moment when you last held your phone in your hands. Remembering the entire incident might be helpful in speculating the particular place you might have kept your phone in. These simple and effective procedures can help you find a phone with a dead battery fast.
However, why wait for that time to come? You must equip your Mobile with an efficient and sturdy battery backup so as to avoid such critical circumstances. Joos batteries are India’s first eco-friendly cell phone batteries that hold abundant energy to power your phone during the long hours of the day.

Airbag for your Mobile!

Heard about the Airbag technology in cars? It is that high-end technology that cushions the passengers head as they thrust forward on sudden impact. A technology giant has very recently designed airbag for the Mobile phone based on a similar concept. The system uses motion sensors, already built into most smartphones, to detect when a phone has been dropped and the mini airbag is then deployed before it hits the floor. So no more losing your favorite apps or visiting the repair shop every month to treat your phone!

Inevitable and unnecessary damage to the phone and its essentials parts can be avoided completely through this remarkable technique. Your Mobile must have or can be severely damaged due sudden impact that is sometimes unavoidable. This might give a big hole in your pocket as you will have to spend good amounts on recovering and repairing the damage.

The most rigorous impact can be on the cell phone battery, which is the lifeline of your phone. Losing the battery would mean losing the phone! An airbag technology like such can help avoiding such horrors. This seems to be a beneficial technique especially for the latest delicate smartphone models. Safety is our prime Concern

With recent crime incidents and questions being raised on the safety of women in India and especially in the capital region, it has become highly essential to be fully prepared and equipped to be able to act promptly and avoid such unfortunate accidents. It is rightly said, ‘Better to be safe than never’! When it comes to safety, the Cell Phone seems to be a remarkable invention. Indeed, it is! With cell phones, we can communicate with others wherever we are. If necessary, we can ask someone for help any minute now. These high-end wireless devices are of much help to the user who can stay connected with important people whenever and wherever he wants to.

However, the life of a mobile phone lies in its battery that keeps supporting its function with sufficient power backup. A battery-less or dead phone will be completely useless for the customer. Hence, it is highly recommended to keep one’s phone at maximum charge whenever stepping out of the house. This will help avoid lack of communication or help at the time of emergencies. Moreover, the latest high-end Smartphones hold power consuming features and applications that can lead to an early death of the battery. The Android phone market has grown by leaps and bounds over a span of just a few years. This high-end device is stuffed with cutting edge features that support a smooth and efficient functioning of corporate work processes. First, it is important for you to know that even if you are not making use of those power- consuming Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or hotspot features, they are still sucking up your battery’s power! Moreover, you can save some serious battery life by switching from 4G to 3G if you do not use data-hungry apps. Certain devices also allow you to turn off your 4G connection in favor of a less power-intensive 2G connection.

Trees at the place of Batteries!^*@#%# is it really possible??

No sooner, we think about buying a cell phone, a cloud of peculiarity surges in our head about latest features, exclusive applications, most sorted cameras, handy, trendy and sleek looks.  But we hardly pay any attention to the very basic and most important part of any cell phone i.e. battery. And how hard, is to believe these batteries which we forget about can be made out of trees..!

A shocking study that says trees can be used as batteries caught the fancy of every individual lately. Yes, a new study has resulted, that our bark-skinned friends which are nice and beautiful can be used for mobile backup needs. The opportunists’ believe, we already chop them down for paper, so why not use their spare woody meat for batteries too?

Like previous attempts at organic energy storage, it all hinges on mimicking photosynthesis. The researchers explained, up to a third of the biomass of a tree is a pulpy substance called lignin, which is a by-product from paper production which contains electro-chemically active molecules called quinones. The professors from University in Sweden asserted that, with a bit of processing, they can turn lignin into a thin film that can be used as cathode in a battery, and they believe it's efficient enough to start industrial-style development of the technology.

It is evident our existence is natures boon and has always been of ‘infinite’ help to the humans. But the idea of using trees for making mobile batteries sounds revolutionary..!

I Just Charged It a Few Hours Ago..!!!

The nausea of watching your battery icon seemingly drowning fast as a stoplight is haunting. But have you ever tried to find a reason behind that or you just blame your phone for the same? Well in some cases it might be but It could also well be all the apps you have installed — even the ones you aren’t using.

Researchers at Purdue University released a study that thoroughly examines dozens of android phones applications, all the doings and wrong doings. They believe ‘Apps turn on parts of the phone, such as the processor, the GPS or the camera, whenever needed, which is normal. But by digging into the code of apps, the researchers often found what they call “no-sleep energy bugs,” certain mistakes in the program that fail to turn the components off when you’re done with them. Unlike computers, which are often plugged in and “awake” most of the time, smartphones try whenever possible to be in a “sleep” mode to save precious battery life. But buggy apps defeat the purpose.

Now the question is how to Improve Android Smartphone Battery Life?
The apps you download aren’t the only culprits — many that are part of the Android operating system are overtaxing the hardware. Culprits also include the native email programms, Google Maps, the Android backup service and, ironically, the power manager that is meant to conserve battery life. The preinstalled Facebook app also overuses the phone’s battery. Most of these problem apps, the Purdue researchers say, were previously unknown.

Some downloads were also culprits. For instance, K9Mail, a popular alternative to the built-in email client, overuses the battery.

So when now you know what steals away the charge from your battery you can choose right applications and minimal applications to keep your phone running..!
